Praise the Lord!! I have been in Costa Rica for a week. Jacó, Costa Rica is very beautiful. My team and I are living in a place called Oceans Edge. We are about a 15 minute walk to the ocean.

My day consists of waking up early to go to the beach so I can spend quiet time with the Lord before my day begins. We are required to be in pairs of two when leaving the property, due to safety reasons. It has been a pleasure to get to know my squad while living in community together and walking together.

After my time with Jesus, I come back to Oceans Edge to have daily devotions with a fun, loving man named Richard. He is very committed to teaching the younger generation about how to personalize/put on the full armor of God. After devotions, we have a morning meeting to discuss what the mission field will be for that day. As most of you know, I am very relational. Oceans Edge has been a great organization for me to work for because they value making relationship happen over the tasks being completed. After we are done with tasks for the day, we get to connect with our team and build deeper relationships. Then we have dinner with my whole squad. It is a very full day, but I have felt so loved in every part of the day because I have chosen to connect with the God of the universe every morning.

My encouragement to those who are reading this is that God wants time with you. My quiet time with the Lord has consisted of reading His Word, journaling and learning to sit still to allow him to speak to me. Making this time for Him has allowed me to have a deeper relationship and love for God. If you are looking for time to do this I encourage you to get up earlier than you normally would or go to bed later than everyone else does. Spending one on one time with God is very important for every believer, so stop making excuses and just do it!! Love you all

If you are interested in supporting any of my teammates please let me know. Thanks
