Buenos Dias!
The team arrived safely in Chicaman, Guatemala. Chicaman is about an 8-hour drive from Guatemala City. Chicaman is located in the mountains, so it gets very cold during the day and at night. As most of you know, I get cold very easily. For weeks, I have been praying that God will allow the sun to shine everyday. The Lord has answered my prayers everyday. Some days, He wakes me up with the sunshine in my face. Some days the sun does not shine until afternoon. Praying for God to send sunshine everyday has allowed me to see that God hears and He answers even the simplest of prayers.
Chicaman has the most beautiful people. Our host family – Wesley, Kaite and their three kids – have been so welcoming, loving and kind to us. When we have to say goodbye to them it will be a very hard day. God is teaching me to live in the present time. There is some much to tell you all but so little time to explain. Please pray for my team, host family, and pastors from churches surrounding us.
Please continue to pray for our squad!
If you would like to support someone on my squad please let me know. Thanks!
I love this! As the month goes on and I pray for you I will also pray for the amazing sun to warm you and make you smile. Antionette, you are a bright light in Chicaman. oxox
