Good Morning, Family and Friends

Greetings from Kyrgyzstan!!  The two weeks I have been here have been amazing. The first week was Debrief, which is when the squad (people you travel with) comes together and celebrates what the Lord has done in the previous countries.  The second week, the squad and our mentor (a person who works in the office making sure we as a squad have what we need), Stephanie, went to the desert of Kyrgyzstan to seek the face of the Lord together. This week was called The Burn.  This has been my favorite week of the race thus far because I heard from the Lord, burned idols, and sat in His presence 24/7. I gave up my phone and my watch for a whole week.  I surrendered my wants and desires to the Lord.  I went on a repentant journey with squadmates and I saw true reconciliation.  During this time, the words “refrigerator rights” came up.

Most of you who know me know that I have keys to five different people’s houses in Denver. They have given me the permission to come into their house at any time, which comes with refrigerator rights. When I go to these homes, I feel like I am a part of the family.  I realized that I have the same rights with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I can come into His presence and dine with Him at any time.  I do not need a key to enter his presence – I can knock on the door and He will answer (Matthew 7:7). I have refrigerator rights to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords . Wow!!  If my friends trust me with the keys to their house, how much more does the Lord want me to walk freely into His home, my heart?  If this question is true then my prayer life has to change!  Instead of seeking the Lord’s hand, I can seek His face. Instead of focusing on the issues of this world, I can sit in His presence. Instead of walking in fear and anxiety, I can believe that I am free!!

My question to you is, do you believe that you have refrigerator rights to the King of Kings and the Lord or Lords? If so, what in your life shows that this belief is true?  If not, I encourage you to seek out why.  God has given each of his children this same access. Will you be willing to walk in and dine with the King of Kings and the Lord or Lords?

Thank you all for your prayers and support as I am on this journey. I am two months away from coming home. Please pray that I will continue to be all in even if I know the finish line is so close. Pray that my team will choose one another and finish strong. Thanks again.
