Waking up on Easter Sunday to see the sunrise on the beach of Quepos, Costa Rica was a unique experience. I enjoyed spending time with Lord alone in remembrance of what he has done for me. Then we were invited to go to a church on the beach. I have been missing being home on Easter because celebrating it with my church family is so fun. So to be invited to a church on the beach was so amazing.

I was welcomed by this wonderful lady named Charlotte. She treated me like her daughter. She made me feel so loved and accepted. She was God’s sweet kiss to me.

The Pastor and his wife were so kind. They invited us lunch afterwards with another missionary group that was also visiting.  This group quickly became my brothers and sisters. We were able to pray together, share testimony with one another, break bread together, and swim together. God’s goodness was on display the whole day; I was able to taste and see it.  This will always be one of my favorite Easter Sundays.
