Did you know that we are God’s pleasing aroma?   2 Corinthians 2:15 says, “For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing…”  This was a statement that was hard for me to believe. Why would God consider me a pleasing aroma? If you were to smell me right now you would not be pleased… but the God of the universe sees me as a pleasing aroma. Wow!

This week my team and I have been doing ATL. ATL stands for “Ask The Lord”.  We ask the Lord where we should go, sleep, and do ministry for a week. The Lord brought us to Quespos. During one of my quiet times with the Lord, I was reading Leviticus 1.  Every animal that was burnt and offered to the Lord was a pleasing aroma to him.  Since Jesus became the Lamb without blemish, we are now the pleasing aroma to the Lord. What a beautiful smell! I hope this encourages you to look at yourself as a pleasing aroma to God.
