This past weekend was so amazing.  Horizon Church in Jacó, Costa Rica invited all the women on my squad to attend the conference they were hosting. Wow!  It was one of the best women’s conferences that I have ever been to. I always tend to not want to go to a women’s conference because in the past it has been very focused on married women and identity issues. However, this conference got women on fire to share the gospel. It was so beautiful to see the diversity of the speakers who were passionate about getting the gospel to the nations.

When the Lord wants me to learn something he brings it up multiple times. Before going to the conference, I had been reading a book called Radical by David Platt. This book is about being a radical believer and sharing the gospel to the end of earth, which is what the Lord has called Christians to do in his Word. You do not have to go overseas to be sharing the gospel, but you do have to be active in sharing the Gospel. We as Christians in the States get lazy or assume everyone knows Jesus. Therefore, we choose to not live out what God has called us to do. I am encouraging you and me to stop being lazy!! Jesus is alive and he promises that he will come back!!! We do not know the time or the hour of his return, but let’s not be like the five foolish virgins who were not ready for Jesus’ return (Matthew 25:1-13).

Jacó, Costa Rica, has been my home for two months. I have enjoyed working with Ocean’s Edge Ministry. I am thankful for the time that they have put into doing daily devotionals, mentorship, and allowing me to build relationships with people in the community.  My next stop will be the Dominican Republic!! I am so excited to see what God has next for my Squad.

Prayer Requests:

I am on a squad of 28 people.  We are broken up into 5 teams. About every 5 months we change teams.  Please pray for a smooth and steady transition because it has come to the time for us to change teams.

At the end of this month all of my teammates are required to be fully funded. Please prayerfully consider supporting one of my squadmates as we continue living out the great commission.
