Good Afternoon Family and Friends!!

God is such a patient teacher.  Last Thursday, my team and I went to visit a community that we had not been to before.  The leadership for UTK told us that this place had a witch doctor that has a place located in the community. When I first heard this news I was a little afraid.

We started walking around the community and began praying and sharing the good news.  There were some people who did not want to hear about the good news. We started to talk to a lady who was washing clothes. At first she started to laugh at us. My friend said that this lady is not taking what we had to say seriously. I began praying to ask the Lord what I should do. He told me to help her wash her clothes. So I asked her if I could wash her clothes. She said no at first, but then I told her that I really wanted to do it. Then she allowed me to help. At this point, I did not continue to share the good news. I just started to live it out in my actions. By the end of washing clothes with her, she invited my friend and me in to pray over her home. God breaks down barriers when you allow Him too.

Thank you for your love and support!!  Today I said goodbye to the Dominican Republic. It is very hard – I have loved being in the D.R. This place is so beautiful and the people are so friendly and loving. I am going to miss my morning walks where I could form a relationship and share God’s love with people all around.

I am heading to Turkey where it is going to be very hard to share the good news . Please be praying for me and my team.
